2.8L Automatic Pet Feeder

We got this feeder to keep our cat fed while we are away on travel. Having an app gives us peace of mind that the cat has been fed and the dual power system removes any concern that a power outage will lead to a hungry kitty. The unit was easy to set up by following the included instruction booklet. You enter in your wifi network and password, connect to the feeder's temporary wifi network, and everything starts working. The app is very easy to use and is great about warning you if there are any problems with the feeder (low/out of food, batteries low). Our cat comes running as soon as she hears the little door open. We thought she might be afraid, but the reward of food quickly got her comfortable with the feeder. Overall, I highly recommend this product.I had a couple questions with the feeder, so I reached out to PETKIT support via email. They responded very quickly--even on a Saturday--and were unbelievably helpful.

I am absolutely loving not being woken up at the crack of dawn by furry terrorists for more food even though they ate literally a couple hours ago, and in fact are not actually starving. This product is actually amazing, the assembly, filling, cleaning and app make this thing a dream. Seriously. The app does most of the work, you only need to occasionally clean it and refill for your lovely furballs. Highly recommend.

So this pet feeder has been great so far! I got it because my always hungry cat sees me as a food dispensary and I want to be able to get up without her thinking it is feeding time. It got pretty bad as the pandemic goes on and this little gem has has been awesome so far since I work from home temporarily during the pandemic.My determined little monster cat can't get into it yet! I wedged into a tight space so she can't knock it over and disabled the button at the top.Definitely measure a place and sandwich it into it. She hasn't tried lifting the slider yet but we shall see if it remains tamper proof after a while :)This lasted much longer than the other feeder I purchased where she got into it and ate until she puked not 10 min after I sat it down***Update***My cat managed to figure out when the door opened the food would come out so she found out that she could rush when she heard it prepping to release the food and stick her paw in the slot. She ripped the door off the arm thinking it would allow the food to keep coming out. I contacted the retailer and they sent me another arm and door.I used it for about a month or so without the door by elevating it so she can't get a good grasp on the arm. The arm is pretty easy to move and I'm not sure the replacement arm will fix it. I'm going to give it a try.However if you can elevate and funnel food down or your cat isn't very good motivated this is a fantastic feeder! My cat broke this product but star rating stands since it really took her a while to figure it out! If the arm doesn't work I'll most likely buy another one and 3d print a funnel so she can't break it haha.

I have this running for couple weeks now. It is smarter than I thought. It reminds you when the food is running now. It reminds you to change the silica gel pack every 30 days. It notifies you every time it dispenses food. Battery level notification etc. Highly customization portion sizes as well as frequency. The food tray is magnetic clipped on, so you can wash the tray and snap it back in easily.
