Automatic Pet Feeder

I recently adopted my first cat and put him on a 3 times a day feeding schedule (1/4 cup breakfast, 1/4 cup lunch, 1/2 cup dinner = the recommended 1 cup on the kibble bag). I used the large portion wheel that was already installed. Before pouring the whole bag of kibble in, I poured 1/4 cup in to see how many portions it filled on the wheel. It filled 2, so I set breakfast and lunch to 2 portions each, and dinner to 4 portions. Easy peasy way to figure out how many portions you need!This has worked well so far, but my scatter brain has been kind of bad about actually keep the correct schedule. Not to mention, I realized that when quarantine ends, I won't always be home to give him breakfast/lunch. This feeder has solved that problem! It also allows me to take day trips to visit family, it will be great when I have to go out of town for a wedding in a few months time! I've got it running on electricity with batteries in in case the power goes out. I'm thinking about using the recording function to record the sound of opening the kibble bag because that's what my cat associates with feeding time.

I posted an unboxing video because the packaging was very professional and really showed they cared about getting it to the customer without any damage so that was the first positive thing I noticed. after opening I was surprised with the size of it. you wouldn't think by the look of it that it would fit a whole 7 pound bag of dog food but it did with a little room to spare! this will be a great product to keep my dog on a more scheduled eating pattern! (she's getting a little chunky)

I use this for my cat strictly for when I know I’ll be away for a day or two, otherwise I have a friend feed her regular wet food.Started using it in November 2019 (its been more than 3 mos) and the programming feature is wonderful and appreciated. I was glad for a few extra weeks (before the holiday travel season) of becoming familiar w portion sizes because a few times the food ended up accumulating a little bit, then it dries out, then she reeeeeally won’t want to eat it. If you’re cat doesn’t care much for dry food, but will eventually eat it, I recommend tiny portions, like “1” or “2”.The voice/audio clip feature is not something I use. The machine sounds just enough to be able to let my cat know the food is available.Programming the servings and times seems really intuitive to me. Thankful for that.While I can’t believe I spent this much money on a feeder, I am super stoked (so far) that I bought the right one for me and my cat, and I highly recommend it.

Purchased several weeks ago to replace an old feeder that required a refill every 3 days. This is great, probably just a once a week will be my plan, but I think it would go several weeks providing twice-daily feeding for our two cats. Easy to program and adjust, best feature is the lockable lid and the wide range of quantity control. It has 39 settings, you're bound to find the best choice for your pet(s). We replaced the long usb cord with a much shorter cable as ours is very near an outlet under the side table in the dining room. So far, this unit is really outstanding.

NOV 9, 2019: At 9am the machine promptly dispenses the programmed amount of food. I am beyond happy with this product.NOV 8, 2019: I just opened this today. Popped in tjr batteries and all seemd to work fine. The mic option is surprisingly clear and the portion sizes are great for my Lab. Kinda a pain to have to weigh 2 cups of food the convert it over but it was easy enough. The hole seems small enough that mice or rat can't crawel up.My husband took a home depot bucket and cut a hole at the bottom. We put the feeder in the bucket for outside use.Very please so far. Will see how long thr batterirs last and how well it feeds my 85lb Lab.
