Is surprisingly sturdy, tick material and so far our puppy haven't made any holes on it. He's a very aggressive chewer but is well built. W have a 5 months Border Collie and this has become one of his favorite outdoor toys.

This is the BEST dog toy I’ve come across. I have a lab/German Shepard puppy who destroys toys. Plush toys lose their limbs in a matter of hours. He can get through a raw hide in less than 15 minutes. He LOVES this toy and comparatively it lasts a pretty long time. It probably takes him a week or two to chew all of the tabs off. But then there’s still little nubs left that he can keep working on for weeks. AND at that point it still works as a ball. He loves playing fetch with it and carrying it around in his mouth. He did eventually chew through the outside but it took well over a month of every day play.
